  • 1927 ​

    The origin of sticker printing.

    He founded Matsuguchi Ukishu Paper Factory, which became the origin of Osaka Sealing Printing. At the time, his main business was embossing, a process that creates a textured surface on paper.

  • 1960 ​

    A tour of Europe and the United States that puts the company's future at stake.

    Matsuguchi Yutaka (then Managing Director) participated in the "1st European and American Sticker and Label Printing Inspection Group" and learned about the latest sticker printing technology. After returning to Japan, he introduced a succession of cutting-edge European and American printing machines, modernizing his facilities.

  • 1961 ​

    Towards a position that leads the Japanese sticker printing industry.

    A patent was granted for the "non-drying adhesive label manufacturing method," and full-scale seal manufacturing began for the first time in Japan.

  • 1972 ​

    The foundation for nationwide expansion has been completed.

    We purchased 30,000 square meters of land in Shiga Prefecture, built a printing factory, and were one of the first to introduce the satellite factory system.

  • 1974 ​

    Accelerate production with a seven-fold increase in efficiency.

    Started production of in-house seal printing machines.

  • 1988 ​

    An original database that differentiates us from other companies.

    Original photo service launched. Color photos were compiled into a database, and design proposals incorporating photos were started.

  • 1994 ​

    Expanded to two axes: seals and films.

    Film Bag products were released. Since then, the number of items has increased, and the company has grown into a comprehensive packaging company.

  • 2008 ​

    Entered the packaging business.

    The printing press manufacturing division was spun off into a separate company.

    The printing press production division was spun off to form OSP MACHINERY CO., LTD.

    Clear Thermal announced.

    A transparent information substrate that can be thermally printed with variable information. It will soon be introduced at major convenience stores.

  • 2021 ​

    The base paper manufacturing division was spun off into a separate company.

    The base paper manufacturing division was spun off to form OSP LABEL STOCK CO.,LTD.

  • 2022 ​

    Opened a label factory in Sapporo capable of handling small lot production of a wide variety of items.

    Established "DIGITAL PRINT BASE in Hokkaido," a factory specializing in digital label printing, in Sapporo, eliminating time loss and enabling stable supply.

    The labeler manufacturing division was spun off into a separate company.

    The automatic label applicator manufacturing division was spun off and Oak Tech Inc. was established.
