Local sports promotion activities

OSP Hockey Stadium

Contributing to the local community through "OSP Hockey Stadium"

We acquired the naming rights to Shiga Prefectural Ibuki Sports Ground, and renamed the ground "OSP Hockey Stadium." It is the only ground in Shiga Prefecture dedicated to hockey. The all-blue artificial turf uses the same water base as the specifications for the hockey competitions at the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, and it is a high-standard stadium that will also host the top domestic league, the West Japan League. The contract fee will be used for the development of Shiga Prefectural Ibuki Sports Ground and will help promote sports in the region.

The connection between hockey and Shiga Prefecture

Shiga Prefecture is a region where hockey is so popular that four of the members of the Japanese men's hockey team for the Tokyo Olympics are from the prefecture.
The OSP Group also has an important factory in Shiga Prefecture, and is contributing to revitalizing the region by supporting hockey, a popular sport in the area.

"OSP Hockey Stadium" has been selected as the official stadium for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.
