"Agriculture Week" is held annually at Makuhari Messe (Chiba) as a comprehensive exhibition on agriculture and livestock. This year, it will be held for the first time in Kyushu, and we will exhibit agricultural machinery, smart agricultural products, bird and animal damage countermeasures, sixth industrialization, and livestock materials. OSP Group will introduce products, labeling systems, and printing technologies in three corners (support for sixth industrialization and strengthening brand power, business efficiency, and agricultural product branding), so please stop by.

■Current status and issues of agriculture

In 2020, 70% of agricultural workers were aged 65 or over, and the number of workers has fallen by more than 30% in the past 10 years, presenting a major challenge in the form of a shortage of workers (reference: Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries "Agricultural Census"). In addition, agricultural management entities are changing, with the number of individuals decreasing while the number of corporations increasing. In proportion to this, cultivated farmland is also changing, with the number of small-scale farmers decreasing and the number of large-scale farmers increasing.
