OSP Group (Headquarters: Tennoji-ku, Osaka City; President: Matsuguchi Tadashi) is pleased to announce that its partner women's rugby team, Tokyo Sankyu Phoenix Rugby Club (operated by Tokyo Athletic United, a general incorporated association; location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), has won the 10th National Women's Rugby Football Championship.

In the final match of the tournament held at Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on Saturday, February 3, 2024, Tokyo Sankyu Phoenix Rugby Club, ranked first in the Kanto tournament, defeated PEARLS (Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture), ranked first in the Kansai tournament, and won the championship for the second consecutive year following last year. Tokyo Sankyu Phoenix: 40 points (21 points in the first half, 19 points in the second half) PEARLS: 24 points (12 points in the first half, 12 points in the second half)

■ Initiatives as partners

The OSP Group has had a partnership agreement with the team since May 2014, and in addition to sponsorship fees, they provide some of the stickers that are distributed to visitors at matches and events, and they also host the OSP CUP as a place for practice matches for club teams, university and high school teams mainly based in Western Japan. They also employ players, and the position hooker, Kokaji Ayumu, from Osaka Prefecture, is registered with OSP Holdings, which is part of the OSP Group.

Thank you for your constant support. This year, we won the 15-man tournament again, making it two years in a row. Unfortunately, I was unable to play this season due to injury, but thanks to all the support, I think we were able to fight as one team. I will do my best to return to rugby in the 2023-2024 15-man season and win the championship for the third time in a row.
