OSP Group companies Primark America Corporation and OSP LABEL STOCK CO.,LTD. will be exhibiting for the first time at Labelexpo Americas 2024, which will be held in Chicago, USA for three days from Tuesday, September 10th to Thursday, September 12th, 2024.

It is the largest exhibition in the industry in the United States, with attendees including label, packaging, and cardboard printing and processing companies, brand owners, designers, and suppliers, and with companies from 77 countries exhibiting at the last exhibition. In the current economic background of a continuing weak yen and strong dollar in the foreign exchange market, OSP Labelstock, a member of the OSP Group, will be exhibiting for the first time in order to further strengthen sales of tack paper, which is manufactured and sold by the company. The tack paper to be exhibited is a functional and environmentally friendly product.

The US label market declined in 2022 due to COVID-19 and rising raw material prices, but has been growing since 2019. It is predicted to recover from 2024 onwards as label converters expand the range of products they handle, including flexible packaging materials. In that market, Primark America Corporation, a member of the OSP Group, aims to expand its sales channels in the country.

This is a highly transparent film-type seal that allows for direct thermal printing.

* Clear thermal film

This is a thermal film that changes color when heated. For series products, the base design and fixed information can be printed in advance, and only the necessary information such as the product name and general labeling can be printed directly on it for each individual product. Because it is highly transparent, it is suitable as a packaging material for products where you want to show the contents, such as bento boxes.

*Alcohol-resistant Thermal label

In response to changing lifestyles where alcohol is used on a daily basis, we have developed a paper-based Thermal label that is resistant to alcohol wiping and alcohol adhesion.

*DotTac® Thermal Tape Labels

This thermal tape label has adhesive applied in dots, so it sticks firmly and can be peeled off cleanly, even after repeated application and peeling. It is an environmentally friendly product that reduces waste by not using release paper and uses a water-based emulsion type adhesive (no organic solvents).

* Dot Tack®

These labels have a strong adhesive applied in a dot pattern, so the adhesive does not lose its adhesive power even when repeatedly stuck and peeled off. They stick firmly and can be removed cleanly without leaving any glue residue.

* Cillpita

It is suitable for application on chilled products that require temperature control at a refrigerated temperature of 0℃ to 10℃ from production to sale and are prone to condensation.
