The OSP Group is pleased to announce that it will be holding the "OSP Group Sticker MATSURI - Welcome the Japanese summer with stickers and labels" event over two days, August 25th (Monday) and 26th (Tuesday), in the event space within the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion at the 2025 World Exposition, Japan (Osaka-Kansai Expo).
These two events allow visitors to experience stickers and labels while enjoying the festival atmosphere that is a staple of summer in Japan.
The first event will introduce the OSP Group's environmental initiatives through a participatory art experience in which participants write messages on washi paper stickers and stick them on a giant lantern. The second event will allow participants to create their own original labels, printing their name or a favorite phrase, and introduce the stickers' functionality in solving social issues. 1,000 people will be invited to participate on each day on a first-come, first-served basis.

■The OSP Group's thoughts behind the event name "MATSURI"
In Japan, festivals are a part of culture that has long been loved as a means of celebration, a ritual to make wishes, a turning point to welcome a new season, a symbol of rebirth and renewal, and a place to strengthen community ties. These meanings resonate with the theme of the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, "REBORN." We also chose "MATSURI" as the theme, hoping that the Expo site will become an event where people from all over the world can gather together with smiles on their faces.

■The OSP Group's thoughts behind the event name "Hospitality with Stickers and Labels"
"Omotenashi" means always thinking about how to make customers happy and showing consideration and care from the heart. This is a concept that is in line with the OSP Group's management philosophy of "Customer First," which expresses the desire and attitude to sincerely think about what one can do for customers and to deliver good work in good faith, so we included it as a theme.
■Project 1: "Large Lantern" Making Experience and Learning
[Experience]
At the reception, you will be given a 6cm x 6cm washi paper sticker on which you will write your wish for the future 25 years from now(*), and you will then paste it onto the large lantern on the Reborn Stage as part of your art project. Once everyone has pasted the washi paper sticker with their wish written on it, the large lantern will be completed as an art piece.
(*) I am betting on myself 25 years from now when I plan the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion.
【learning】
Stickers and labels around us can be easily applied by simply peeling them off the release paper, but this release paper becomes waste after use. By putting the release paper in a collection box after applying washi stickers and labels, we hope to raise awareness of the fact that stickers and labels are convenient but also generate waste, and to provide an opportunity to raise awareness of environmental issues. In order to fulfill SDG Goal 12, "Responsible Consumption and Production," we will be exhibiting panels showing the release paper recycling process and labels and paper bags made from recycled paper to introduce the OSP Group's environmental efforts.

■Project 2: "Original Label" Production Experience and Learning
[Experience]
You will be asked to write your name on a Senshafuda and create an original label (8 Japanese characters or 13 alphabet characters). The adhesive on stickers and labels does not stick well to wet surfaces, but the labels in this project miraculously stick cleanly to condensation-covered surfaces. To give you a chance to experience this, you will be asked to stick your original label on a bottle of Ramune drink that has been chilled in ice water. You will be able to take home the Ramune drink and original label as a souvenir of your visit.

The OSP Group has developed a wide range of products to solve customer problems. The functionality required of stickers and labels varies depending on the situation and the surface they are attached to. We will be exhibiting panels that explain the social background behind the development of the miraculous sticker that can be neatly attached even to condensation-prone surfaces, as well as the fact that there are over 300 different combinations of surface paper and adhesive, and will convey the various hidden functions and possibilities of stickers and labels.
