OSP Europe GmbH and OSP LABEL STOCK CO.,LTD., both part of the OSP Group, will be exhibiting for the first time at Labelexpo Europe 2025, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain for four days from Tuesday, September 16th to Friday, September 19th, 2025.
This exhibition is held every two years, and the last one in 2023 attracted approximately 35,000 visitors, with exhibitors from 138 countries, making it the world's largest. Exhibits will include packaging products such as labels, flexible packaging, and folding cartons, as well as raw materials, machinery, and related technologies. OSP Labelstock, a member of the OSP Group, will exhibit functional, value-added, and environmentally friendly products under the global brand "CLENOWA" in order to further strengthen its overseas business. OSP Europe GmbH, a group company, will also aim to strengthen sales of raw material fabrics and label products in Europe (both within and outside the EU).
New global brand "CLENOWA"
To spread our direct thermal and other converting technologies, which we have cultivated over half a century, to the world, we have launched the global brand "CLENOWA," integrating our product lineup. The word "CLENOWA" is a combination of the English word "CLEAR" and the Japanese words "wa" (circle, harmony), and embodies OSP Labelstock's passion for product creation. "CLEAR" signifies clarity and transparency. It represents the reliable quality achieved through honest product manufacturing and our proactive approach to problem-solving. "WA" represents the "circle" of connections between people in society as a whole, including our employees and customers, and our unwavering desire to respect the "wa" (harmony) within those connections and create value together.
■Exhibited Products
DotTack® Thermal Tape
This thermal tape has adhesive applied in a dot pattern. Its adhesive strength does not decrease even after repeated application and removal, and it sticks firmly and can be removed cleanly. This time, we will be exhibiting thermal tapes using three types of substrates: paper, clear PET, and white BOPP.
Alcohol-resistant Thermal label
We will exhibit paper-based Thermal label that are resistant to alcohol wipes and alcohol adhesion, and are suitable for use in hospitals and research institutions, as well as for changes in lifestyles where alcohol is used on a daily basis following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Papack
This paper packaging material does not use plastic film but has heat sealability that allows it to be fused with heat, and is resistant to water and oil.
Clear Thermal Film
This is a thermal film that changes color when heated. For series products, the base design and fixed information can be printed in advance, and only the necessary information such as the product name and general labeling can be printed directly on it for each individual product. Because it is highly transparent, it is suitable as a packaging material for products where you want to show the contents, such as bento boxes.
Thermal label using kraft lignin developer
Kraft lignin developer is a biomass color developer that uses kraft lignin discharged during the process of manufacturing pulp from wood, and is 100% wood-derived. By switching from thermal paper that uses existing color developers to this product, you can contribute to reducing the burden on the environment.
